Choosing Art for a Meditation Space

A meditation space can be a whole room, a cushion beside the bed or the chair where you begin the morning. Art gives that place a personal point of focus: something you enjoy returning to.

When choosing meditation room wall art, begin with your room and the way you use it. Colour, scale and placement can help you find a piece that feels at home there.

Begin with the view you return to

Sit where you usually read, reflect or meditate, and notice which part of the wall is naturally in view. Then look from the doorway. This helps you choose whether the artwork will be a close companion or the room's main focal point.

Try a paper outline in that position before choosing a size. Our print size guide walks through this using the three sizes available in Crystal Light.

Choose a colour direction you already enjoy

Look at the things you plan to keep: the wall colour, curtains, timber, cushions and the light at the time you use the room. One familiar colour can be enough to connect an artwork with its surroundings.

  • For a pared-back setting: Quartz Crystal Cluster pairs clear quartz points and soft lavender light with a quiet grey backdrop.
  • For cool blue tones: Blue Quartz brings slate blue, clear crystal forms and a gold Flower of Life pattern into the composition.
  • For warm timber and neutral textiles: Natural Quartz offers champagne tones and fine gold details, while Golden Quartz has richer, candlelit warmth.
  • For a brighter point of colour: Rainbow Crystal combines rose, amber and violet with a gold geometric field.

These are ways to begin looking. Choose the image you would like to see often, including the details that matter to you personally.

Give one piece room to be seen

For a small corner, try a single print first. Place the paper outline beside the furniture, lamp or shelf that will remain there, and leave enough open wall for the composition to feel considered.

If you prefer a pair, test both outlines together and include the space between them. Matching sizes or frame finishes can give different artworks a shared rhythm.

Check the wall in morning and evening light. The room examples on our product pages can help you imagine a setting, while your own measurements and lighting are the best guide to your space.

Finish with the frame

Crystal Light prints are available unframed or framed in white, natural wood, dark wood or black. Try relating the frame to one existing finish in the room, such as a timber shelf or a black reading lamp.

Read our framed and unframed print guide for the materials and what is included. Each piece is printed to order on 250 gsm archival matte paper, with the white gallery border included in the artwork.
